Sandhu was previously crowned Miss Diva Universe 2021, and is the third player from India to win Miss Universe. Sandhu was born in Kohli village of Gurdaspur district of Punjab, close to Batala town, to parents Pritampal Singh Sandhu and Ravindra Kaur Sandhu.
